“Eric possesses profound emotional and social intelligence skills. He can read an organizational situation using thoughtful and probing questions. He builds trust through empathy. Consequently, he can analyze where a team is, demonstrate his understanding of the environment and the challenges, and in so doing, encourage people to trust him. Once he has that trust, he can steer a group through some difficult exercises, which can yield remarkable results. As a result of the work that Eric did with and for my team, we were able to make great strides in leading the entire Library system in creating and implementing an array of programs for children, families, and adults that were quantitatively and qualitatively better than we had offered in the past.”
